Tortoiseshell domestic short haired cat with big yellow eyes staring up at the camera on tiled floor.

Birdie came into us heavily pregnant, malnourished and starving. She gave birth to a large litter of 5 kittens but sadly, the burden on her body was too great and none of the kittens survived. It was very sad time.

As Birdie has been through a very traumatic event, we are looking for an understanding, patient owner who can shower her in affection and give her a loving, stable home.

Since moving from our mother and kitten unit to our Cattery, Birdie is slowly starting to show her true personality. She will meow for treats and tap the glass to remind you she’s there waiting. She loves a fuss and a head scratch but she must trust you first or she may shy away and hiss. She can be a little unapproachable if she feels you are approaching too quickly. With time, Birdie will make an adorable little companion.

Please note – Birdie is not 100% litter trained

Reason for rehoming – Unclaimed stray
